Coated Powder Concept

Coated powders conceptually are easy to visualize but difficult to fully comprehend the possibilities- which can be endless. As shown above, the coated or encapsulated powder is shown as a sphere with a coating on the outside. This coating may be metal or ceramic, or even multiple layers. The process will enable segregation and control of the powder reactivity (increased or reduced in some cases) during processing.
